NORTH HERTS GUILD OF SINGERS

We are a happy and successful choir which has been going strong for more than 50 years. Based in Hitchin, we are one of the best-known and best-supported choirs in the area.

Christmas came a little earlier than usual for the Guild this year, but we were in our most festive mood at Walsworth Road Baptist Church to present Oliver Tarney's delightful Missa Media Nocte for the first time, alongside many standards from our seasonal repertoire and two organ solos from accompanist Richard Leach. Harry was on top form as ever, and was suitably 'surprised' when we all donned our silly headgear for the finale.

Our first concert in 2025 will include Mozart's glorious Mass in C Minor (the Great Mass) on March 29th, when we will return for the first time since Covid to the Coptic Church Centre in Stevenage.
